 Pornography is a sexual explicit intended for the sole aim of sexual arousal. Pornography is derived from the Greek word “pornographia”. “porne” means prostitute, “grapho” means to write or record, and the suffix “ia” means state of or place of.

Thus, Pornographia means a place to record prostitutes.

It has been observed that teenagers and youths have great impact and interest in Pornography. This is as a result of the fun and excitement derived from watching or reading obscene materials. Some even tend to masturbate during or after the excitement that comes with pornography, thus, indulge in gratifications.

The impact of pornography on adolescents is wide due to the rate of internet access. Adolescents expose themselves to internet pornography because they consider it as the most vulnerable audience of sexually explicit materials. Most adolescents believe that masturbating after a porn movie reduces their chances of getting infected with any kind of disease or an unplanned pregnancy since there is no sharing of fluids.

For most young people, Porn is part of their fantasy life because to them fantasy is of sexual energy and better than having sexual intercourse when someone does not have a partner.

To curb adolescent access to pornography, there must be through evaluation of media expqures of explicit content wit>inappropriate sexual themes. Parents should also block cyber porn with software. Adult movies which contain porn should be sold in places that are restricted from young people so that their minds will not be easily exposed to porn.

TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN MAJOR CITIES

 Ever wondered why you are supposed to get to your destination in 30 minutes and you end up there in 3hours? The simple answer is “traffic jam”. Traffic congestion has become a cankerworm in our major cities nowadays and motorists also help aggreviate the problem by their non-challant attitude towards motorable roads.

Traffic congestion is a condition on road networks that occurs as use increases, and is characterized by slower speeds, longer trip times, and increased vehicular queuing. When traffic jam is great enough that the interaction between vehicles slows the speed of the traffic stream this results in some congestion.

As demand approaches the capacity of a road, extreme traffic congestion sets in and when vehicles are fully stopped for a period of time during this cause then we have what is colloquially known as “traffic jam” or “traffic snarl-up”.

Traffic congestion wastes motorists time and tear vehicles as a result of idling in traffic and frequent acceleration and braking leading to more frequent repairs and replacements and many others. In limiting or totally eradicating the problem known as “traffic congestion”.

It is important for the government to improve road structures, providing reversible lanes and bus lanes. They must also look into urban designs and planning, and the supply and demand of transportation management amongst other factors.

This above measures would greatly help to reduce traffic jam in our major cities and bring about easy movement from one destination to the other.

 Fashion is fast evolving all over the world, taking new and incredible turns and dives and one would proudly say that Nigeria and Africa at large are cashing it ‘big time’ as Nigerian fashion icons and entrepreneurs stands in bringing respect to the nation and flying the flag high.

Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, or furniture. Fashion refers to a distinctive; however often-habitual trend in the look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior.

Retro fashion is a culturally outdated or aged style, trend, mode or fashion. It is a mode of dressing that existed in the past or is outdated. It existed in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Essentially fashion is termed ‘retro’ because trends and past eras of fashion are constantly recycled.

Most times retro fashion is a style of garment or anything of that matter that has been pulled directly from the past era with little or no modernization.
